  • Bare wires for soldering

Pot & Capacitor values

  • Plenty bright enough with a 250k volume pot. Might be too bright with less punch in Teles with 1Meg or 500k pots
  • Tone pot is usually the same value as the volume but for a little more top end brightness can be 500k, 1meg or a No-Load
  • Stock pots can actually measure as low as 175k. Pots in our Goodbye-Soldering Harness are guaranteed to measure no less that 250k
  • Normal tone cap value of 0.022uF in 63 ~ 100 volt Polyester. Smaller value reduces the severity of Treble cut, larger values increase it

Magnet spread

  • Bridge 55mm (standard)
  • Neck Tele: 50mm (standard)

Magnet Staggers

  • Improved Stagger to suit 7 ~ 14 inch uniform radius fretboards including USA Custom Guitar Compound 7-1/4" ~ 9-1/2

Hook-up cables

  • Cut generously longer than necessary for Telecasters
  • Bridge pickups have 2 conductor shielded
  • Neck pickup has 3 conductor shielded cable (OK for series connection of 4 pos switch -and- phase reversible -and- compatible with Fender's S1 harness)

Output Polarity

  • in-phase with Gibson and Copy humbuckers
  • in-phase with all other Kinman pickups
  • opposite phase to Fender

Mounting hardware included

  • 3 Pan head mounting screws 6-32 UNC x 18mm for bridge
  • 2 Pan head mounting screws 6-32 x 21mm UNC for neck interim (4-40 x 21mm UNC coming soon)
  • 5 Silicon Rubber tube springs

  • Tele bridge pickups don't have covers, the top coil is bound with white twine and wax potted for protection
  • NEW Tele neck pickup has electro-Chrome plated Nickel-Silver cover for extended durability and zero impact on sonic performance. Matching mounting screws
  • Arched top to accommodate staggered magnets for perfect string volume balance
  • Kinman logo

** Alnico-K is a unique proprietary Alnico rod magnet developed by Kinman in 1985. It is Alnico-5 but has 40% less string pull than Alnico-5 so sustain is longer and there is much less clatter from string crash and no Strat-itis string warble.

* Fender and Telecaster and Tele are registered Trade Marks of Fender Musical Instrument Corp, Inc. Kinman is not associated with FMIC but they kindly permit us to refer to their Trade Marks to reference our products.
